Freshworks Get the Imperial Drummers Experience

We’ve always enjoyed playing at corporate events, but this one was something else. Freshworks, a technology company with their HQ in Chennai threw an after party at Studio Spaces to commemorate their first-ever conference in London.

First things first, the venue was incredible. Located in St Katharine’s Dock, Studio Spaces offers a sound limitless space (every DJ and Musician knows the struggle of dealing with sound limiters). Not your typical crowd

This wasn’t like any other audience we had played for in the past. There were over 400 IT enthusiasts from all over the globe including India, Germany, Paris, California and the Netherlands.

This mixture was explosive. Those from India love a party, they love bhangra. It wasn’t long until the infectious sound of dhol and bhangra got the dance floor crawling with all sense of common professionalism out of the window – and this is what made it exceptional.

So here’s the recipe to the explosive cocktail:

Start with an open bar, a generous dash of a couple hundred IT professionals, a sprinkle of India for flavour, throw it into an incredible venue like London’s Studio Spaces and serve with five drummers from Imperial.
